In my last post here, I wrote about travelling to Gurgaon enroute Vrindavan. That was on 5 February, 2025. Today, almost 13 days later, as I am writing about it, all that travel and experience of Vrindavan looks like a distant dream. As if it happened in some other birth. Still getting goosebumps thinking about how blessed the trip turned out to be.
We managed to attend “Ekantik Vartalaap” of revered guru Premanand ji Maharaj and see him face to face. It was surreal, out of this world and what a divine experience, but first the chronological sequence.
I, my father and sister left for Vrindavan from Gurgaon around 12 pm the next day, i.e, on 6 February. We took a small detour to visit ‘Shani Mandir’ in Kokilavan, which is a ‘siddhapeeth’, for it is believed it was here that Lord Krishna gave darshan to ‘Shani Devata’ in the form of a cuckoo.

From there, around 4 pm, we left for Vrindavan which is a 40 minute drive approx. On the way we encountered something unpleasant. We were stuck in a jam when a local man on a motorcycle, probably in his late 20s, with a three-year-old child in front and a wife sitting behind him, broke the glass of our car in a fit of rage. We were shocked, terrified and upset but decided to leave the place without a fight as we didn’t want to escalate the situation.
With a heavy heart and a broken glass, we reached our resort, ‘Vatsalya Gram’, checked in and settled a bit. In the night, my sister and I went to visit ‘Keli Kunj’ ashram of ‘Premanand ji Maharaj’ just to get a hang of things there and enquire about how to get a token for the ‘Ekantik Vartalaap.’ We were told to come at 8.30 am the next day.

We couldn’t believe we were called so late, as we had heard people stand in queue for the token around 2.30 am or much before. Anyways, the next day we reached his ashram at 6 am and were made to sit outside for the live satsang that was being telecast in the screen outside. It was such a divine experience to feel his presence there, though in our hearts we were praying for a chance to meet him face to face. Around 8.45am, we were made to stand in a queue for the ‘Ekantik’ token. We were told to keep our questions ready which were vetted by two of his disciples. It was only after they approved our questions that we both, my sister & I, got the tokens. Our dad got the token for ‘Radha Naam kirtan.’ What a beautiful coincidence it was. All three of us were jumping with joy, and so were our family members back at home. It was such a blessed day.
We were looking forward to the next morning with deep excitement. We were told to come around 4-5.30 am with a written question.
